Jun prefers to keep to himself as much as possible; his distrust in people make it difficult for him to converse with anyone due to his distrusting personality. It doesn't mean he hates all people nor does he bear a bitter grudge. Those who approach him slowly, kindly, and let him go at his own pace will be rewarded with his trust... in time. If he is forced to be in a situation where he has to be surrounded by strangers, the half-elf won't resort to impolite manners, but rather will do his best to approach them humbly. Quiet, he is slow to anger, and is patient in dealing with those who may be rude or inconsiderate. When faced with a troublesome situation though, he'll be the type to run away from it instead of facing it. If forced to deal with it, he can be a bit of a pushover, lacking the backbone to say no.

He is a simple and humble person, often finding joy wandering around in solitude throughout forests, or by reading a book near a warm fireplace. He doesn't ask for much, and certainly doesn't expect much, either. He doesn't think too highly of himself, and feels a bit awkward when praised. Certainly, he's not the type to desire being in the spotlight. He has a slightly pessimistic view on life, and due to paranoia, tends to consider the worst case scenario first. Because of this, he's also rather close minded, trusting his own opinion far more than the words of others. This being said, he can still be made to go along with things (because he dislikes conflict), even if he does not agree with them.

Jun doesn't like to rely on other people if he can help it; even if it's something as simple as borrowing a little money or accepting a gift. He dislikes owing others. He can be a bit forgetful also, so he writes everything he remembers down in his notebook.

▷ History

Jun can't remember his parents or his early past. When he was young, he was found unconscious in a forest by an old herbalist. The blind old man took care of him and nursed him back to health, but his memory was permanently damaged from whatever had happened. Since then, he began to keep a record of his life in various journals and notes, in case he forgot something important.

Growing up in the corner of a large town with the old man, he lived comfortably and happily, even if his caretaker didn't have much money or a large home. In the beginning, he tried to go out and interact with other children his 'age', but he soon learned that his ears weren't admired by the community- rather, he was feared. After a few negative experiences, he decided to just stay home instead. He was still happy, however- the boy read books and studied plants with the old man, who he came to see as a sort of grandfather figure. As he got older, he learned how to mix health potions and helpful concoctions- to heal colds, gain stamina, sleep better at night, etc.

But money was still an issue. The old man's business grew worse and worse over the years, and even food on the table was scarce. Not to mention, with his old age, his grandfather was starting to grow ill. Jun wanted to be helpful to his caretaker, and thus sought other ways of making money. Having been out of the loop for so many years, he was entirely unprepared for what was to come in such a fast paced town where people were only concerned with themselves. Once again, his negative experiences still outweighed his positive ones, and the more he dealt with humans (and other people), the more jaded and distrusting he became.

After the passing of his grandfather, he could only trust himself. With nothing left in that town, he looked for a new place to call home, and perhaps try his luck with his predecessor's business. He found a flyer tossed aside outside on the way home one night, and though skeptical, the offer seemed too good to not take. Despite missing the deadline, he called anyways. Luckily, he was still able to go (at the cost of one train ticket). Jun packed all his things into a single luggage and headed off to Toffee Town, one week into the Fall season...

● Not entirely sure about his age or birthday. It's just a guess.
● Homeschooled so he lacks some some theoretical knowledge; has good survival skills and common sense though.
● Can't see without his glasses... They are usually conveniently tinted, so his eyes aren't seen. Eyes are yellow.
● Mixes things either in the forest (sunny days / good weather) or in his room (other days). Tries to do so when people aren't present.
● Makes things mostly by request, though he does have a few things premade. Keeps products he's made in his bags and pouches that he carries around at all times.
● Not making much money at the moment as the clinic sells similar remedies... _{please support}
● Has a multitude of journals where he puts down info about recipes, plants, or people.
● Likes to wander around the forest some days and, if possible, takes a sample of plants he's come across to put into his journals.
● Very wary of close contact-- might freak out if people get too touchy.
● When he runs out of money, he'll just eat foraged goods...
● Due to distrust, it takes more FP with him to reach heart levels blue and up (ie. being friends or whatnot).
